| Phuket Thailand, suffered the aftermath of the worst earthquake in the region for more than fourty years. A ferocious Tsunami, (Tidal wave) hit the Isaland of Phuket, at approximatly 7 a.m on the morning the December 26, wreaking distruction in its path. Although the Tsunami that hit Phuket was much weaker than the Tsunamis that hit Indonesia and other coastal areas of South Asia, much of the southern areas of Phuket were dessimated, especially Pataomg beach and Pi-Pi Island. |

More than 1,50,000 people have died now [Jan 02 03:30 PM IST] due to tsunami waves that hit coastlines in South and South East Asia on Sunday 26, We would like to take this opportunity to offer our condolances to all of those effected by this terrible disaster.
